XSEED Games announced on Thursday that it hired former Atlus USA President and CEO Shinichi Suzuki as its new President and CEO.
"I have always respected XSEED Games, so this was an opportunity I could not pass up,” said Suzuki. "This is an exciting time for the industry and our company, and I look forward to navigating a course of success through the exciting changes in store as we advance XSEED's publishing efforts by bringing even more highly anticipated titles to market across multiple platforms."
Suzuki stepped down as president of Atlus USA in August. Naoto Hiraoka, head of consumer business at Atlus's parent company Index Corporation, succeeded Suzuki at Atlus.
XSEED's upcoming North American releases include the Ragnarok Odyssey and Orgarhythm PlayStation Vita games.
